Since October 2014, our crew have been carrying out welding and fitting works on the Nyhamna project in the Kvaerner yard in Stord. Construction is currently underway on four modules and their outfit in the pipelines, with maintenance, painting and insulation work next in line. In February, the SEC Norge group of welders and fitters finished piping work on three modules, the heaviest of which (over 300 tons) will be floated to the Aukra island in Norway (the giant Ormen Lange gas field) at the beginning of March to be connected to an existing installation. Pipe prefabrication is now being carried out on the largest module with a mass of 522 tons.
