Nyhamna Project at the Kvaerner Stord AS production plant enters a new stage

Having recognised the high quality of our services, our client Kvaerner Stord AS commissioned SEC Group with the prefabrication of pipes that will connect the modules being installed at the Ormen Lange gas production and processing plant, located on the Norwegian island of Nyhamna.
The pipeline fabrication process is subject to strict regulations regarding dimensional tolerances, which will allow for the pipes to be mounted on the construction site in a smooth and timely manner. During the Nyhamna Project, we are once again working with a full range of steel types used in production:

• carbon steel,
• stainless steel,
• 6MO,
• duplex,
• super duplex,
• Inconel,
• as well as titanium.
