# **A Voice for 900 Specialists: SEC Group at Aker Solutions Stord’s Year-End Town Hall**

As the year draws to a close, SEC Group received a distinct honor an invitation to speak at the Joint All-Meeting for the Hugin A and Valhall PWP projects at Aker Solutions in Stord. Speaking before a massive audience of over 3000 employees from all involved companies, it was a privilege for our leader, Marcin Piłat, to share the stage during the joint session alongside top industry decision-makers. The meeting was opened by Arne Hammer (Yard Director Stord), followed by key addresses from Geir Glømmi (EVP Aker Solutions), Peter Kupka (Project Director Yggdrasil/Aker BP), and Sigurd Sævareid (Union Chair). Being included in this lineup confirms our role not just as a supplier, but as a strategic partner representing the voice of the hired-in workforce.

We are incredibly proud that currently, over 900 of our employees are actively working on these landmark projects. Our team is diverse and highly skilled, covering a vast range of disciplines including welding, scaffolding, insulation, prefabrication, and warehousing. Our contribution extends beyond skilled labor, we provide essential support through HSSE personnel, team leaders, and foremen, as well as engineers and inspectors. This impressive number confirms that Polish specialists are the backbone of operations at Stord and other Norwegian yards.

During the session, the focus was on summarizing the status of these massive projects and setting clear expectations for the year ahead. While the executives highlighted the competitive challenges Europe faces from Asian shipyards, we emphasized the solution the quality and efficiency of our people. It was a moment to acknowledge the professionalism of the Polish workforce and to motivate both leaders and specialists to continue proving that our model of cooperation delivers world-class results.

Looking ahead to 2026, we remain committed to supporting Aker Solutions with the best talent available. We want to thank every single one of our employees for their hard work on Hugin A and Valhall PWP. Your dedication builds our reputation every day.
